Demi Lovato was hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering an apparent drug overdose on Tuesday, July 24.
It has been reported that she is still recovering in the hospital and has agreed to go to a rehab facility.
Lovato directly addressed the reports on Sunday, August 5 with an emotional message on Instagram.
“What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time,” she wrote. “It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.”
